Episode 1
Arnie and the team begin their Peru adventure. This episode features Lima, the capital city of Peru. Arnie enjoys attending a wedding. Shane begins his Spanish lessons with his new friend Pedro, Postman PJ in his new Peruvian Poncho shows us some more ways to stay fit and active. Ranger Hardy discovers how cactus plants survive in the desert. The theme of this episode is commitment – the best commitment you can make is to follow Jesus.

Episode 2
Arnie and team travel from the Lima coastal region to snow-covered mountains. Ranger Hardy comes across some Llamas in the mountains and Arnie meets a new friend when he visits the snow. Shane the puppet continues with his Spanish lessons finding it really interesting to learn another language. Another theme in this episode is cooperating and getting along with each other.

Episode 3
More adventures as Arnie and the team heading south of Lima to the Desert region. Shane gets to ride up and down the sand dunes on a sand buggy, Arnie explores evidence of the flood, finding some fossils, Ranger Hardy enjoys a boat trip around the Ballestas Islands where he sees some amazing fish, birds and other creatures. Arnie is reminded of the Children of Israel while he is in the desert. They even get to see a paraglider. Shane has more Spanish lessons. The highlight for Ranger Hardy though is to see the fisherman catch a massive net full of fish, reminding him of what it would have been like when Jesus was with his disciples fishing on the Sea of Galilee.

Episode 4
The team leaves the coastal region and heads up to the high-altitude mountainous region called the Andes. They fly into the pretty city of Cusco and are quite impressed when they find lots of Australian gum trees in the region, making them feel quite at home. Pj does some more exercise and Shane’s Spanish lessons continue. Machu Piccu is a real highlight, especially when they climb the mountain next to it called Waynapiccu. After lots and lots of walking, Arnie reminds us to keep walking, keep talking, keep telling everyone you know that Jesus loves them. Arnie finishes with some of the Spanish he has learnt by saying Adios Amigos, hasta luego, see you later.

Episode 5
Still in the Cusco region, Arnie climbs Rainbow Mountain. Shane watches a colourful parade and continues his Spanish lessons. He also discovers how they process Alpaca wool. Arnie is very impressed with how well made some walls and fortresses are. They are built solid and strong. We need to build our lives on the solid foundation of Jesus, so that when the tough times come along, we can stay strong and praise God for the good things instead of being sad about what has gone wrong.

Episode 6
Arnie and his friends continue in the Andes mountain region. Arnie visits a salt spring which remind him about what the Bible has to say about being the salt of the earth. Hardy sees some amazing flowers at Moray, an archaeological site in Peru. More Spanish lessons for Shane and PJ shows us more exercises to do. The episode finishes with Arnie’s favourite song, Jesus I give it all to You, with it sung in both English and Spanish. Arnie says that he made that decision many years ago, to give everything to God and that it was the best decision he ever made.

Episode 7
The Peru adventure continues with the team heading to Lake Titicaca, a beautiful part of the Peru. Arnie learns how they make man-made floating Islands, and he takes a trip around them in a totora reed boat. Shane finds that the corn in Peru is different from what he usually has in Australia. He also discovers some interesting fruits. More Spanish lessons with Pedro, and exercise with Postman PJ. They are reminded of the story of Moses in the bulrushes by the river Nile. Arnie gets to hold an eagle an amazingly powerful bird, another one of God’s amazing creatures.

Episode 8
In this episode the team heads off to the Amazon jungle. They get to ride in a tuk tuk, then travel on a dugout canoe into the Amazon Basin where they discover more amazing animals including monkeys, sloths and more. Ranger Hardy has the best time with all the nature he gets to see. Shane is doing well with his Spanish lessons and Postman PJ has some more exercises for us to do to stay fit and active. To get through the jungle, they have a guide, Wellington who paddles the boat and leads them the right way. It reminds Arnie that forget that in life, when we ask Jesus to be our guide, He can help us with making good choices and ultimately, Heaven is the awesome destination we are heading for.

Episode 9
The journey continues from Ranger Hardy is in the middle of the Amazon jungle in Peru. They see some pink dolphins, more birds and even bump into some bats! Shane’s Spanish with Pedro continues. PJ has a new exercise session to join in with. Maria sings about us being a doer of the word not just a hearer of the word. Arnie tells everyone the he has chosen to make Jesus His guide and that it is the best way to live life. We can also find out what the best choices in life are by reading the guide book He has left for us, the Bible.

Episode 10
The team visit Iquitos and see some more interesting animals. Hardy is fascinated by the Leaf Cutter Ants. It reminds him of how God used the ant as an example in the Bible of how we should work. Shane is getting pretty good at his Spanish as Pedro continues to teach him some more words. Postman PJ continues with the get active exercises. Maria and Shanes sings to us about how there is no doubt at all that God loves everybody. In fact, he loved everyone so much that He sent his only son to this world to die in our place. We are all extremely valuable to God.

Episode 11
Final episode in the Peru adventure for Arnie and the team. Hady sees some more interesting animals and fish. Arnie goes for a ride in a tuk tuk. Shane has his final Spanish lessons with Pedro. PJ continues his get active segment. The team explore Iquitos by both bus and boat. In the town square, they find some pigeons. These pigeons are trying to balance on a wire. It reminds them that in life, things can keep on changing all the time. Sometimes, just like the pigeons, you can keep it all together and stay balanced, and sometimes you just need to start again. When you are struggling to hold it all together, don’t forget you can always call on Jesus to help you. He is just waiting for you to ask. The whole Arnie’s Shack team had an incredible time in the great country of Peru.
